Liam D. Burke joined Alex. Brown Investment Management in 1994 with primary responsibility as a telecommunications analyst for Flag Investors Communications Fund. He was named a co-manager of the mutual fund in 1997. Mr. Burke joined ABIM having been a telecommunications industry analyst ataregional broker/dealer, Ferris, Baker Watts, Inc. Prior to working as a telecommunications analyst, he served as managing director of a Baltimore-based private investment bank. Mr. Burke began his professional career at AT&T and spent eight years in positions that included operations, regional staff management, and national account sales. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and received his MBA from The GeorgeWashington University.
