Barbara A. O'Boyle joined Ex-Im Bank as a loan officer in 1976. In 1994, Ms. O'Boyle joined the Project Finance Division, where she was one of three senior project officers responsible for limited recourse transactions on a worldwide basis. In 1996, Ms. O'Boyle was promoted to Deputy Vice President of the Project Finance Division, and in January 1998 she was named the Vice President of the division. She is responsible for all of Ex-Im Banks’s limited recourse project finance activities, a total portfolio of over $6.5 billion. Ms. O'Boyle negotiated and closed several projects, including the Paiton power and Cilacap debottlenecking projects in Indonesia, the Uch power project in Pakistan and the Ras Laffan LNG project in Qatar.
