As Chief Sales Officer, Todd develops sales and marketing strategies and objectives. Todd cultivates relationships, uncovers concerns and shares his perspective to make sure his prospects’ expectations align with Nova’s capabilities. Todd’s role requires continual adaptation, innovation, growth and flexibility to deliver profitable solutions and increase Nova’s presence across the country. With nearly 15 years’ experience in the TPA environment Todd has developed innovative strategies supporting a variety of risk bearing entities from the small level funded employers to large scale health plans.

Todd joined Nova in 2010 as the only sales executive. Since then, he has helped Nova expand into new markets and grow in membership. Todd also led the charge offering Nova as a solution to other TPAs and health plans as a back office partner for claims administration and medical management.

Prior to Nova, Todd served as a financial services representative with MetLife and spent 5 years focused on self-funding at one the country’s largest TPAs.

Todd is a member of Self Insurance Institute of America and Society of Professional Benefit Administrators. He is an advocate for self funding with the goal of improving outcomes while controlling costs.

Teresa Vincent is the product manager for Nova Healthcare Administrators, a role that knits together the threads of sales, operations, health plan performance management, and marketing. Teresa has been in the health coverage and benefits industry for a decade, with broad knowledge of regulations, compliance, and products for all types of health insurance. Prior to working in health benefits, she spent a dozen years working as a communications professional in state government. She has a master’s degree in healthcare administration, for which she completed award-winning research in end-of-life communication training for medical students. She is also a Certified Health Value Purchaser through the Validation Institute.

As president, Walleshauser oversees Nova’s business strategy, operational performance and service delivery. To help solve industry challenges, he brings with him more than 20 years of experience in senior management, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. Under Walleshauser, Nova is committed to the development of concierge-level products and services focused on better access, increased quality, and affordability of health care to Nova’s partners and clients.

The strength of Nova’s leadership team, paired with Walleshauser’s passion for service and commitment to excellence, will enable Nova to maintain its current business model and focus on continued growth. Prior to joining Nova, Walleshauser served as president for Evolve Practice Partners, an affiliate organization of Independent Health. There he led a dynamic and innovative team of practice management professionals to help primary care physicians achieve excellence in care and best patient outcomes, while also remaining independent as the health care industry quickly transitions to a value-based model of care.

Walleshauser joined Independent Health in 2008 as vice president, business transformation, and was then promoted to vice president, office of strategy management. He most recently served as senior vice president, health care services operations. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing the health care operations function as well as coordinating and implementing strategic and operational initiatives for health care services and medical management.

In 2009, Walleshauser and the rest of the Independent Health executive team were named Executive Team of the Year by HealthLeaders Media magazine.

Before Independent Health, he worked for Rich Products Corporation as director, business process services. In this position, he provided strategic focus and leadership for business process services. Prior to Rich Products, he was chief information officer, director of corporate planning at Try-It Distributing Co., Inc. Walleshauser has an extensive background in project management, process management and strategic planning.

Walleshauser earned his bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the University of Notre Dame and his master’s in business administration from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Walleshauser attained the status of Certified Health Insurance Executive in 2010, is a graduate of Leadership Buffalo – Class of 2016, and currently sits on Leadership Buffalo’s board of directors.
