Koichi Fujii became the Resident Executive Director, (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) of JEXIM in June 1998. He has held a large variety of positions within the organization including such roles as the Director-General of the Project Finance and Corporate Analysis Departments. In 1997 he was also Seconded to the Japan Institute for Overseas Investment as Managing Director. He has been with JEXIM since graduating in 1968 from Hitotsubashi University with a BA in Economics and has significantly contributed to Japan’s bilateral arrangements with the international community.
