Scott MacLeod is presently a Managing Director of the Global Environment Fund Group (GEF) based in Washington, DC. GEF is an international firm that invests private equity in companies and projects that provide environmental infrastructure and services. GEF currently manages five equity investment funds with total capital in excess of $500 million. Mr. MacLeod was previously Division Manager of the Privatization and Financial Advisory Group of the International Finance Corporation (IFC). Mr. MacLeod was responsible for IFC’s privatization and financial advisory assignments in Asia, Africa and parts of Europe and Latin America. He has over 20 years experience structuring, evaluating and financing projects and companies in developing countries.
