Today more than ever companies are struggling to find ways to engage consumers in their health. Many are turning to a mobile device to reach, educate and empower consumers as they make dozens of health related decisions of daily living especially around their diet and exercise. The key is to reach consumers "where they are". The challenge is that consumers have different needs for mobile based on their demographic, technology and healthcare profile.

During the workshop you will learn about:
  • Ways companies have successfully designed patient-centric mobile applications for weight loss, diabetes and seniors
  • Secrets for generating on-going consumer engagement
  • Powerful mobile messaging techniques to drive behavior change and track progress
  • Access to data for essential decision support while on the go

The workshop will be interactive. After hearing several case studies, workshop participants will be split into groups to participate in an "innovation game" to design a patient centric mobile application.
