| Mr. Lewis is founder and President of the Disease Management Purchasing Consortium International, Inc. He is a frequent contributor to Managed Care Interface on the subject of disease management. He also has written three Spectrum White Papers, has had two books published by Decision Resources and articles in many renowned healthcare publications. Mr. Lewis is founder and past president of the Disease Management Association of America, the official industry association. He was voted Best Speaker and Most Influential person in a poll by Computer Sciences Corp., and is a two-time winner of the DMAA’s Karen Coughlin Award for Outstanding Achievement in Disease Management. In December 2004, he was designated #1 in Managed Healthcare Executive’s list of the 25 Most Influential People in disease management.
