Bryan Adams is the Chief Commercial Officer of GreatCall, Inc., the leader in connected health for active aging. Bryan joined the company in December of 2016 as a part of the Healthsense acquisition. Bryan leads a cross-functional team that addresses two related areas. The first is the company’s broad data science initiative: leveraging the company’s sizable data set to improve the experience for both internal and external customers. The second is the commercial product: ensuring that the GreatCall offering in the healthcare space both leverages the company’s data science department and also meets the broader needs of the market. Prior to GreatCall, Bryan was the CTO at Healthsense for almost 5 years, where he led the engineering, IT, product management, customer service, and clinical service teams. Prior to that, he was the CTO and founder of a startup in the mobile advertising space, and prior to that he was a Principal Investigator at iRobot, helping them start a healthcare group. He holds a BS, MEng, and PhD in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

With a decade of experience in worksite health promotion, Megan has a depth of knowledge in implementing strategic health promotion programs for large global institutions.

In her current role at Citi Megan is a key player in the development and implementation of Citi’s global wellness strategy. She is responsible for developing Citi’s global health promotion programs that are implemented acoss the organization. She acts as a consultant to countries and regions as they develop their wellness programs and spearheds collaborationg between various departments such as benefits, fitness, dining, corporate reality, and global public affairs to continue to expand awareness of Citi’s wellness priorities.

She has expertise in chronic condition prevention, employee engagment, strategic planning, health promotion program planning and implementation. Megan has a Masters of Science in Health Promotion Management from American University, Bacherlors Degree in Human Movement from Sacred Heart University, and is CHES Certified.

Larry Boress is President and CEO of the Midwest Business Group on Health, one of the nation’s leading non-profit business coalitions. MBGH serves as a resource for employers seeking to get more value from their health benefit dollars and greater engagement of their workforces in improving their own health. He joined the coalition in 1991 and became its president in 2006. Founded in 1980, the Chicago-based MBGH is composed of over 100 major, self-funded, public and private employers having headquarters or employee populations in the Chicago metropolitan area.

Mr. Boress leads a number of community health improvement initiatives, including those on patient safety, to reduce unnecessary early deliveries, smoking cessation and helping patients avoid adverse events.

Prior to joining MBGH in 1991, he spent 17 years at the Illinois State Medical Society. During that time, he assisted physicians in their practices and represented the medical profession in its relationships with hospitals, regulatory agencies and affiliated professional organizations.

Abby Cochran has fifteen years of experience in the field of Human Resources. As Director of Human Resources for the City of Gahanna, a suburb of Columbus, Ohio, Abby oversees recruitment/retention, employee/labor relations, administration of benefit programs, organizational training and development and compensation administration. Her work experience spans both private and public sector, with many years spent working within a medical management company, which gives her a unique insight on the many healthcare issues facing employers today. Looking for solutions to rising health care costs, balancing the requirements of multiple labor contracts while still providing quality healthcare options for employees and their families, Abby developed a first of its kind partnership between the City and two local healthcare providers giving City employees access to a near-site center beginning in 2018. This project from concept to delivery was achieved through her perseverance and ability to manage the many competing interests of labor, management, vendors, insurance providers, elected officials and other critical stakeholders.

Abby graduated with a Masters in Labor and Human Resources in 2008 from the Ohio State University and holds certifications as a Certified Labor Relations Professional (CLRP), PHR and SHRM-CP.

Lisa serves as Director of Total Rewards for Chesapeake Energy Corporation in Oklahoma City. She is responsible for all compensation, benefits, HRIS and payroll functions for the Fortune 500 Company. Her specialty is design of plans and systems which result in enhanced employee experience and reduced corporate expense.

Lisa joined Chesapeake in 2014. She has worked in benefits and compensation roles at a variety of Fortune 500 companies ranging from Halliburton Company to Dell Computer, Cadbury and Walmart. Lisa graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a Juris Doctorate degree. Lisa is an ERISA attorney and a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association.

Charlene Curry is the Director of Benefits for H-E-B Grocery Company. With over 100,000 employees, H-E-B serves more than 300 communities across Texas and Mexico. During her 26 year career at H-E-B she has held positions in Store Operations, Drug Store Procurement, Pharmacy Contracting, and Business Development.

Charlene is a passionate advocate for access to quality affordable healthcare for all H-E-B employees and works tirelessly to navigate Partners to the best possible care. Within the Benefits Department she leads an innovative team that designs, implements, and manages, all health and benefits programs for the company.

Charlene is a native Texan and has her degree from Texas State University. She is the proud mother of two daughters who compete in Stock Show and Rodeo events.

Kim Fortunato was named Director-Community Affairs and President-Campbell Soup Foundation in May 2016. Kim is responsible for Campbell’s community affairs strategy and program, including employee volunteerism, Campbell’s Healthy Communities, and enterprise-wide expansion of the community affairs strategies. She joined Campbell in 2010 as the founding Director of Campbell’s Healthy Communities, the company’s signature philanthropic program based on a collective impact approach.

Kim speaks nationally on the role of the private sector in public/private partnerships employing a collective impact approach. In December 2015, the National Academy of Medicine published her report on “The Private-Sector Role in Building Healthy Communities: A Collective Impact Approach.�

Kim earned her B.A. degree in French and comparative literature from Duke University, and her J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law.

Matt Ginn is the Manager of Corporate Communication, Health Promotion and Corporate Training and Development for Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company. Matt graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Business Administration. His work includes time in minor league baseball with the Triple A Memphis Redbirds, and in the fitness and wellness field at Harbor of Health in Memphis Tennessee.

At Southern Farm Bureau Life, Matt manages a dynamic team of individuals along with coordinating the day to day operations of the award winning SFBLI WellnessWorks! program. Matt is a founding member and a steering committee member for the Mississippi Business Group on Health, a member of the board of directors for the Metro YMCA and a member of the board of directors for Special Olympics of Mississippi. Matt’s professional certifications include the Work Life Certified Professional accreditation through World at Work and the Fellow, Life Management Institute.

Diana is Chief Medical Officer at GE Appliances, a Haier company. She leads the Health Services team, which is responsible for onsite delivery of occupational and preventive health services and programs, employee health benefits, leave management, and wellness and health promotion. Prior to joining GE Appliances, Diana enjoyed a wide-ranging career in healthcare consulting, clinical practice, and healthcare administration at a series of leading institutions, including the Massachusetts General Hospital (Partners Healthcare), the Advisory Board Company, Carewise, Baptist Health, and Humana.

Bev Helkey is Executive Director of the Employers Healthcare Coalition and the Tri-State Purchasing Coalition. She has 30+ years’ experience in healthcare cost management strategies and employee benefits. She joined the coalitions in 2002. She provides management and oversight of two non-profit organizations. Employers Healthcare Coalition provides health education, health literacy, and healthcare cost and outcome resources to the community, and the Tri-State Health Care Purchasing Coalition which group purchases services to their members and the community.

With her extensive experience in healthcare cost management strategies, she has served the organizations through the design, development and implementation of their robust cost saving programs – including education-focused on health literacy, healthcare cost, outcomes and the patient experience.

Ms. Helkey’s career in healthcare cost strategies spans more than 30-years. Helkey holds a bachelor’s degree in Business. She is board member of Leadership Illinois, The Quincy Family YMCA, CDC - The National Leadership Academy for the Public’s Health (NLAPH) and the Association for Corporate Risk Management (ACHRM).

David’s career started at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee in claim’s management. He went on to serve as the Director of Operations for the State of Tennessee Employee Health Plans; Benefit Manager for Nissan Motor Manufacturing; benefits consultant; Insurance Director for Rutherford County, TN and now as Director of Benefits for Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS).

While at MNPS he established a network of primary care clinics to serve their employees, retirees and their dependents. These clinics, staffed by Family Nurse Practitioners are Medical Homes and serve as the main conduit for medical interventions with our covered population. In 2017, he opened MNPS’ first integrated health and wellness facility, combining primary care, behavioral health, health coaching, fitness, physical therapy, chiropractic, acupuncture and pharmacy. This facility also includes a café and conference area and is designed to be a community center for educators, assisting them to develop professionally and personally. In addition, to help drive individual and group health improvements, he implemented a data warehouse that combines medical, pharmacy, dental and vision claims, medical records, payroll, health risk assessments and evaluation data.

He serves on the board of the State and Local Government Benefit Association and of the National Association of Worksite Health Centers.

Present Responsibilities
Kristie is a Principal with Mercer Health & Benefits LLC, in Boston. She is responsible for developing and managing client relationships, providing strategic advice and orchestrating the delivery of a broad range of specialized Mercer services. She has primary responsibility for strategic planning, critical analysis and project management.

Kristie also serves on Mercer’s Total Health Management specialty practice where she helps develop strategies and educate clients and colleagues about best practices in the areas of consumerism, disease management, wellness, incentives and absence management.

Experience
Kristie has over 18 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. Prior to joining Mercer in 2014, Kristie was a Vice President in the Health practice at a regional employee benefits consulting firm headquartered in Boston. In this role Kristie managed relationships with the firm’s large national clients (1,000+ employees). Kristie also established and led the firm’s wellness consulting practice where she served as a subject matter expert on all aspects of worksite wellness programs including strategy development, program design, and evaluating outcomes.

Earlier in her career, Kristie spent several years in sales and client account management at a national third party administrator of self-funded health plans.

Kristie is a cofounder and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts, the first non-profit in the Commonwealth representing health promotion professionals and business leaders dedicated to improving employee health and productivity. She is also an active member of The Boston Club, one of the largest communities of women executives and professional leaders in the Northeast. Brian Klepper, PhD is Principal of Worksite Health Advisors and a nationally prominent health care analyst and commentator. He writes and speaks extensively about the structural dynamics of the US health care cost crisis, primary care clinics, high performance health care and the management of full continuum clinical and financial risk.

Jim Knutson has been Risk Manager and Human Resources Director of Aircraft Gear Corporation in Rockford, Illinois, a manufacturer of components for the aviation and auto industries, since 1989. He is responsible for all corporate risk management, compensation and benefit programs. Jim is a member of Catalyst For Payment Reform, the Business Advisory Group to the Joint Commission For the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, a member of The Midwest Business Group on Health and served on its Board, a member of the Winnebago County, Illinois Crime Commission and a board member and treasurer of The Healthcare Incentives Improvement Institute. Jim received his bachelors degree from Marquette University and his law degree from Northern Illinois University.

Bill Lacy has over 30 years experience in executive and financial leadership positions. Currently, Bill serves as the President and CEO for the Association for Corporate Health Risk Management (ACHRM), a membership based organization comprised of progressive employers ranging in size up to 30,000 employees and Best-In-Class Sponsor Partners seeking education, a venue to collaborate, innovative methodologies, disruptive technologies and other resources to more effectively contain their organization’s health care costs.

Sherry joined the staff in 2013 as the wellness and medical benefits manager, providing nearly 150 employees with wellness coaching to build on the healthy, positive, balanced and productive workplace.

With more than 18 years of wellness experience, Sherry enjoys helping the employees through designing individual integrative programs and coordinating the company’s onsite physician, psychologist, lawyer, dietitian and financial wellness coach. Sherry has a true passion for helping people achieve a well-balanced life one interaction at a time, and in 2014, she was named a Top 100 Wellness Professionals in America by the Wellness Council of America.

Dr. Leizman is a member of the Professional Staff at the Cleveland Clinic, where he serves as Medical Director of Cleveland Clinic @ Work. In this role, Dr. Leizman oversees business and medical operations for 10 worksite health clinics and two stand-alone occupational medicine clinics. He previously served as the Director of Urgent & Express Care Clinics where he led Cleveland Clinic’s Regional Urgent Care and mid-level based Express Care clinics, including the build out and expansion of operations. Board certified in Family medicine, Dr. Leizman has practiced in Urgent Care, Primary Care, Emergency Department, and Occupational Medicine settings. He has worked with Global 500 Companies and other corporate clients on health and safety issues. A certified Medical Review Officer and a United States Department of Justice Immigration and Naturalization Services Designated Civil Surgeon, Dr. Leizman holds an A.B. degree in English with Honors from Dartmouth College. Jayme Mayo, Physician Assistant, is the in-house medical provider and wellness director at Nabholz Construction where she has successfully lead efforts over the past 9 years. Nabholz Construction is a multi-service contractor offering a full range of construction, industrial, civil, and environmental services across the U.S. Headquartered in Arkansas, the company has 1000 employees with 1700 covered lives on their health insurance plan. Nabholz has a nationally recognized outcomes based wellness program addressing the five categories that drive their health insurance claims: blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, nicotine use and obesity. Kay Mooney has over 20 years of corporate health care experience. Kay currently leads Employee Benefits and Well-being for Aetna, where she is responsible for the strategic design, delivery and administration of Health, Wellness, Retirement and Financial Benefit plans for domestic and international employees and retirees.

Kay most recently led Aetna's national Health Care Reform Exchange Program Management Office, where she was responsible for driving the development and implementation of Aetna's strategy for public exchanges, and she previously served as chief of staff for the Office of the Chairman and CEO. She has held a variety of senior leadership roles at Aetna, focused on pricing, underwriting, product management, mergers & acquisitions integration and medical cost analytics.

Kay developed and currently serves as Executive Sponsor for Aetna’s Enterprise Leadership Development Program (ELDP), which is focused on building a pipeline of future leaders with a broad range of knowledge and experience across Aetna’s enterprise through rotational assignments with accelerated learning and development.

Her passion for well-being extends beyond her position at Aetna and includes leadership roles with the American Heart Association. Most recently, she served as Chair of the 2017 Greater Hartford Heart Ball. John Moore is a physician, technologist and the Medical Director at Fitbit. He is the former CEO of Twine Health, a Cambridge based company recently acquired by Fitbit that created an innovative, proven health coaching platform that empowers people to take control of their health to achieve better outcomes. John attended Boston University, where he studied biomedical engineering, and later attended medical school at BU. Determined to find solutions to improve healthcare, John earned his PHD and did intensive research at MIT. He wanted to figure out how to create technology that both reaches patients and leads to positive outcomes. After years of studying and researching, John was able to build the platform, which later became Twine.

Brenda Motheral leads Archimedes, a specialty drug management company that provides analytics, technology, and service solutions for employers, health plans, and PBMs.

Brenda brings more than 20 years of pharmacy benefit management, product development, and analytics experience to the role. Prior to founding Archimedes, Dr. Motheral served as the President of Artemetrx Specialty Drug Solutions, which she founded to provide comprehensive specialty drug consulting for plan sponsors. Previously, Brenda was the Senior Vice President of Product and Research at Express Scripts and served as a company officer on the executive team. Among many initiatives during her 12-year tenure, Dr. Motheral launched the Medicare Part D program for Express Scripts and led development of the Drug Trend Report and annual client outcomes conference. Dr. Motheral has authored numerous seminal industry reports and has published more than 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts on pharmacy benefit management. She has received national research awards from the Academy for Managed Care Pharmacy and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research.

Dr. Motheral holds a PhD focused in Health Economics from The University of South Carolina, a Master of Business Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The University of Kentucky.

Kathryn (Katie) Nermoe is the Corporate Wellness Director at Sanford Health Plan (Sioux Falls, SD) and is also an Amazon.com #1 best-selling author. Over her 20-year career, Nermoe has held leadership positions in health care, marketing and local government administration. Nermoe believes organizational health is the number-one driver of organizational wealth. She contends a businesses’ engagement and wellness strategies are one in the same, and uses the six dimensions of well-being as foundational cornerstones for transforming organizational culture.

Julie Paris is the Wellness Program Specialist at Akamai Technologies, Inc. She has successfully developed the wellness program and engaged her colleagues in programs that align with the 5 Pillars of Akamai Wellness - active, nourished, calm, balanced, and healthy. Her passion for health and wellness started with a part-time career as a group fitness instructor. Completing the Institute for Integrative Nutrition program provided more fuel to her passion for health and wellness.

Aaryn Pure is the Vice President of the Northeast for Livongo Health. Livongo empowers all people with chronic conditions to live better and healthier lives, using a combination of innovative technology, analytics, and personalized coaching.

Aaryn has spent his career at the forefront of healthcare innovation and transformation. He works collaboratively with Fortune 500 companies to develop strategies to effectively manage high cost employees with chronic conditions. He is passionate about the need for proactive management and real-time monitoring as a strategy to reduce costs and improve the quality of life for individuals managing these conditions. Prior to Livongo, he worked with many of the nation’s largest health systems to implement technology strategies in preparation for the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act.

Aaryn is committed to personal fitness and enjoys fly fishing, golf, and skiing. He holds an undergraduate degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Born and raised in North Dakota, Patty earned a full-athletic scholarship to attend Stanford University in 1985. She was a 9-time NCAA All-American (Shot Put and Discus) and competed at the 1988 Olympic Trials.

In the 90’s, as an entrepreneur, Patty grew her fitness & wellness company, to employ over 100 employees with annual revenues of over $5 million. In January 2009, Patty sold all corporate contracts, including those with Cisco, Yahoo! and Safeway to Plus One Holdings of New York which is now Optum. During that time, she helped launch the Stanford Health Promotion Network whose 65+ members include large corporations like Apple and Adobe, local counties, medical institutions and several non-profits.

From 2013-2016 she found her passion overseeing the HealthySteps to Wellness Program for all non-physician employees of Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children’s Hospital. In early 2016 Patty accepted a role with the newly formed Stanford Medicine WellMD Center as a vocal advocate for all members of our care teams. Today, Patty is an Associate Director of Faculty and Staff Wellness for Stanford University and continues to oversee the Stanford Health Promotion Network.

Michael Sheehan is the Sales Director of National Accounts Sales & Service for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (Blue Cross), the largest private health plan in Massachusetts and one of the largest independent, not-for-profit Blue Cross Blue Shield plans in the country. The company has more than $7 billion in revenue, serves nearly 3 million members, and is rated among the nation’s best health plans for overall member satisfaction and quality.

Michael helps clients optimize their human capital and benefits strategies with a focus on multiyear strategic planning, data analytics, and population health strategies. His primary responsibility includes the overall development of client relationships as well as development and management of relationships with national consulting and brokerage firms.

In addition to his work with Blue Cross, Michael is also involved with Consortium Health Plans, made up of a subset of Blues plans across the country with a shared focus on national account delivery, as a member of their Sales Leadership Committee. In this role, Michael is engaged in strategy and implementation of national initiatives designed to increase the competitive advantage of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans across the country.

Michael began his career in health and benefits consulting. He is a graduate of Providence College’s Health Policy and Management program and has continued his involvement with Providence College as an alumni board member within the school of business. He is an active member of the Big Brother program.

Mr. Snyder has served as a school district Treasurer since 1996. He has served Fairbanks Local Schools in Milford, Ohio; North Union Local Schools in Richwood, Ohio; Cuyahoga Falls City Schools in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio; and Hudson City Schools in Hudson, Ohio before moving to Mayfield City Schools in 2006. He has over 23 years of experience in both the private and notfor- profit environments.

Mr. Snyder holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Toledo, a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ashland University, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Awards he has received include the GFOA Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting, the ASBO International Certificate of Excellence, and the Ohio Auditor of State Award with Distinction.

Mr. Snyder is a member of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO), Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO), and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Snyder and his wife Colleen have two daughters and live in Kirtland.

Flip Steinour has been the Director of Human Resources for Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit located in Lancaster, PA for the past 11 years. Prior to that, Steinour also served in the same capacity for both two other Pennsylvania intermediate units. He started his professional career in human resources in private industry working for Knouse Foods and True Temper Hardware.

Steinour graduated with a BA from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and also has attained his MS in Human Resource Development from Villanova University. He earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Society of Human Resources in 2000.

Over his professional career, Steinour has served as a member of the Executive Board of the Pennsylvania Association of School Personnel Administrators. Additionally, he has chaired the Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units HR Directors job-alike group three times over his 21-year career working for intermediate units. Steinour has also presented for superintendent preparation programs involving HR-related topics at Temple University, Penn State University, and Immaculata Universities. In 2015, he was presented the Gary L. Miller Memorial Distinguished Service Award in Recognition of Outstanding Leadership and Significant Contributions to Education by a PAIU Employee.

He has a passion for helping youth as he has been a volunteer coach for lacrosse, junior high football, Special Olympics basketball, Challenger Little League baseball, and has traveled to Vietnam to help stop the sexual trafficking of Vietnamese children.

T. J. Tedesco is co-founder of, and VP Customer Experience for VIVIO Health, a specialty drug management company providing better outcomes at lower costs. For two decades prior to VIVIO Health, T. J. led a branding, marketing and user experience services agency serving the healthcare industry. He and his team served more than a hundred companies, a third for more than three years and six for a decade or longer. He also was a partner at Synepta Group, a healthcare IT accelerator exclusively serving early-stage health tech companies. Early in his career he was a salesperson for several companies, but started in corporate finance with a Fortune 100 tech company.

T. J. has a BA in English from Grinnell College and was valedictorian of his MBA class at Northeastern University. He’s a founding board member of the Build Haiti Foundation and when not living the VIVIO life, can often be found on a local hockey rink.

David Yoder is currently the Executive Director of Integrated Care Management at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s Federal Employee Plan (BCBSA FEP). There, he oversees the care management functions for over 5.3 million federal employee health Plan members. His responsibilities include Analytics, Provider Network relations, Case and Disease Management responsibilities, Medical Policy Development and oversight of the Pharmacy Programs. The combination of these responsibilities allows the program to design member intervention programs in a holistic manner, preventing duplication and helping close gaps in patient care.

Over the past 6 years he has brought an analytical perspective to the deployment of both disease and care management programs, incorporating outcomes metrics overall as well as operational efficiencies. He also is directing the implementation of the Programs Patient Center Medical Home initiatives, overseeing the rollout for FEP Members in all 38 Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans.

David has over 18 years experience working primarily in Health Plan Pharmacy venues at various health Plans on the East Coast before joining the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. He has a particular interest in Care Management program design that incorporates all aspects of patient care, including Pharmacist interventions and alternative provider arrangements.

David received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.
