| Jennifer Bolen is former Assistant U.S. Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice. In 2003, after nearly fourteen years of public service, Ms. Bolen left the federal government and founded The Legal Side of Pain®, an educational company dedicated to working with health care providers on medico-legal issues on the use of controlled substances to treat pain. Through her companies the J. Bolen Group, LLC, and ProActiveMedX, LLC, Ms. Bolen and her business partners conduct practice audits and teach providers how to perform self-audits with the intent of improving pain management documentation practices and patient relationships. To date, Ms. Bolen has lectured in 35 states and has personally taught more than 50,000 providers nationwide on the legal/regulatory platform for the use of controlled substances to treat pain. |

| Carolyn Langer, M.D., JD, MPH, holds close to fifteen years of experience in occupational medicine and managed care. She is currently Associate Medical Director at Harvard Pilgrim HealthCare and Medical Director of the Tufts Health Care Institute. She also teaches as an instructor at the Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH). She previously worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Prior to that, she served as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of ManagedComp Inc., a managed care workers' compensation company. In this capacity, she was responsible for all medical services and medical quality initiatives, including oversight of MangedComp's proprietary Primary Occupational Physician (POP) network. Before joining ManagedComp, Dr. Langer was a staff physician at Corporate Medical Services of Woburn, Massachusetts, a clinical occupational medicine and disability management practice. Dr. Langer has also been a consultant to Liberty Mutual. |

| Steven Wiesner, M.D., is a physiatrist and Chief of Occupational Health, Kaiser Permanente where he strives to provide the highest level of care to allow patients to achieve their best level of functioning following an injury. Dr. Wiesner works with physical therapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation counselors, orthopedists and neurologists to develop individualized programs. Dr. Wiesner obtained his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed his internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Northwestern University Medical School/The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, in Chicago, Illinois. Following the completion of his residency, he continued at Northwestern University Medical School as a faculty member and helped develop two outpatient sports medicine and musculoskeletal clinics. Dr. Wiesner joined The Permanente Medical Group in 1994, working in the Oakland Occupational Health Department, where he continues to provide medical treatment as well as performing administrative duties. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and the California Medical Association. |
