Elisa Cooper is a Director of Product Marketing for MarkMonitor with over 15 years of experience. Over the last 11 years, Elisa has worked closely with Fortune 1000 corporations to define and develop market leading domain management and brand protection solutions. Elisa also serves as a senior domain name consultant working with corporations on portfolio consolidations, domain name strategy and online brand protection. She has spoken and written extensively on these topics and is the Chair of ICANN’s Business Constituency and an active member of the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition and the Online Trust Alliance.

Patrick M. Flaherty is Assistant General Counsel for trademarks and copyrights for Verizon in Arlington, Virginia, and has extensive experience in intellectual property matters. Mr. Flaherty advises Verizon’s business units worldwide on intellectual property related issues and is also charged with managing Verizon’s domain name and trademark portfolios and protecting Verizon’s brands. Mr. Flaherty received both his Bachelors of Corporate Law and LL.B from the National University of Galway, Ireland, and his LL.M in intellectual property law from the George Washington University School of Law. Mr. Flaherty is admitted to practice in the State of New York, is registered as corporate counsel in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and is a Solicitor in England and Wales.

Sanjiv Sarwate joined the legal department of Dell, Inc. as Principal Legal Counsel – Trademarks & Copyrights in April 2011. Prior to joining Dell, he had been an associate at Baker & McKenzie and an associate and partner at the intellectual property boutique of Pattishall McAuliffe Newbury Hilliard & Geraldson LLP, both in Chicago. He was also an adjunct professor at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago for six years. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a masters’ degree from the University of Chicago.
