What Attendees Said about the Midwest Forum
"The Executive Midwest Forum on Value-Based Benefits Design was as good as advertised. Rarely do I attend an event that follows the agenda as well as this forum. I received valuable insight from employers who have implemented various aspects of VBBD as well as consultative expertise, practical handouts, and useful presentation materials. This information will be helpful as we mature our benefit designs."
Bill Evans, Director, Employee Benefit Plans, Jockey International, Inc.

"It was the best conference I went to in 2007, in regard to content, speakers and attendees."
Charles Hyde, National Account Manager, Employers, sanofi aventis

Unveiled in 1961 in front of a crowd that included Judy Garland and Noël Coward, then called The Summit – the hotel was the talk of the town for its ideal midtown location and mid-century modern look. Designed by famed architect Morris Lapidus, the building’s curving façade coated in sea foam-colored brick was an extreme contrast to the somber hues and straight lines of the surrounding skyscrapers. During the next two decades, the bright colors were traded in for muted tones and the name was changed to Loews New York Hotel. But one thing remained the same: The hotel’s popularity with people seeking a prime Manhattan location as a base for their city travels. Today, the original mid century modernist glory of the hotel has been restored and refined with 21st century amenities.
