The World Congress Leadership Summit on The Business of Women's Health will offer strategies for building a women's service line and best practices for evolving a hospital's basic set of OB/GYN services into a comprehensive, "total care", wellness model. Comprehensive centers demonstrate value to women and medical practitioners through an evidence-based, integrated approach to care and serve women across their life spans from adolescence, child-bearing, and mid-life though older age.
The main thrust of the event will be on revenue growth and developing integrated clinical, health, wellness and health education services that meet the needs of women in today’s hospital market.
Hospital administrators, business development and marketing executives, strategic planners, directors of women services, as well as stakeholders from health plans, the life science industry and the technology community will be interested in attending this Summit as they will:
- UNDERSTAND how health care reform will drive the packaging of women's services
- LEARN how to apply for grants, apply the research and deliver evidence-based clinical care to improve outcomes and costs
- EXAMINE progress toward national benchmarking to measure quality health care from a clinical, service and patient satisfaction standpoint
- DEVELOP strategies for planning a comprehensive, multi-specialty women and children's center that increases customer loyalty and results in downstream revenue for the hospital
- EVOLVE your existing services for women into a "total care", wellness and prevention model
- ACHIEVE buy-in on program development and maintain on-going relations with your physician community
- EXPLORE the value of online retail strategies, medical spas, aesthetic medicine and other emerging services for capturing "well" women
- MARKET to women and determine the best way to engage women consumers (e.g. social networking, eNewsletters)
- IMPROVE clinical decision-making across the hospital system with data mining and "snapshot" patient report cards
- UTILIZE clinical decision-making tools to improve outcomes for high risk OB and other health conditions
