The winners were announced at the 3rd Annual World Healthcare Innovation and Technology Congress (WHIT 3.0). The awards were presented Sunday, Dec. 9, at the conference’s networking gala at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington. The awards were co-sponsored by WHIT 3.0 and Health Data Management.

First place and runner-up awards were presented in four categories: large hospitals, medium and small hospitals, group practices, and payers. Nominees were chosen by the Health Data Management editorial staff. Editors combed through the hundreds of staff-written stories and identified organizations that are setting new standards of innovation through their use of commercial and homegrown software.
