ABOUT YOUR WORKSHOP LEADERS:
Laura Putnam, MA is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Motion Infusion, Inc. Motion Infusion is a wellness and performance company that works with Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations and academic institutions. An expert in how we learn, motivation and behavioral change, and building a healthy organizational culture, Laura is a frequently sought after speaker for national and international conferences. Laura draws from a varied background in education, public policy, wellness and movement. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Stanford University in International Relations and a Masters degree in Education from Brown University. Laura is also an active member on several community boards including the American Heart Association Greater Bay Area 2020 Task Force, Stanford Health Promotion Network as a Program Associate and the American Society for Training & Development Golden Gate Chapter’s Board of Directors.
Rose Gantner, Senior Director, Health Promotion, UPMC Health Plan. Rose has thirty years of experience in wellness and counseling psychology. She has worked as CEO for two hospitals for Magellan Health Service and as vice president of managed care, employee assistance programs, and wellness at Corphealth. In addition to founding and directing her own counseling and psychology practice, Dr. Gantner has served as a health management consultant to state government agencies, private organizations, and commercial groups.

Workshop B:
Worksite Feasibility Analysis: Financial Modeling and Strategy Planning for New and Expanding On-Site Clinics
|
As companies begin the feasibility process for developing a worksite medical clinic, or expanding current services, vital design elements will impact the operational, clinical and financial viability of the clinic. This work shop focuses on:
- Understanding the design choices - Employee/Family Eligibility, Physician vs. Nurse Practitioner, Office Visit Duration, Clinical Decision Support, Core Scope of Services, Program Flexibility
- Explore unbiased financial models to determine the cost/benefit analysis and ROI expectations
- Recognizing payment methodologies used with the vendor and in the clinic, since every payment system incorporates incentives that influence care and cost
- Summarize the latest research results that demonstrate the most cost-effective, integrated work-related and personal health services
- Align medical/HR/Benefits/Wellness stakeholders to maximize integration and ensure access to relevant data
- Explain how to provide a coordinated and comprehensive personal health and wellness services
- Calculate employer-relevant metrics, including unique user utilization, absenteeism, wellness engagement, clinical and financial return on investment (ROI)
ABOUT YOUR WORKSHOP LEADER:
Larry Boress is the Executive Director of the National Association of Worksite Health Centers, a non-profit association dedicated to expanding the knowledge and capabilities of employer-sponsors of onsite health, fitness and wellness centers. NAWHC offers educational programs, benchmarking surveys, networking opportunities and resources for employer sponsors and the vendor partners who manage or support their worksite facilities.
Larry is also President and CEO of the Midwest Business Group on Health, one of the nation’s leading non-profit business coalitions. MBGH serves as a resource for employers seeking to get more value from their health benefit dollars and greater engagement of their workforces in improving their own health. He joined the coalition in 1991 and became its president in 2006. Founded in 1980, the Chicago-based MBGH is composed of over 100 major, self-funded, public and private employers having headquarters or employee populations in the Chicago metropolitan area.

ABOUT YOUR WORKSHOP LEADER:
Steven F. Cyboran, ASA, MAAA, FCA is Vice President and Consulting Actuary with Sibson Consulting. With more than 20 years of experience, he leads Sibson's national team focusing on Healthy Enterprise initiatives, including absence, health and lost productivity. Mr. Cyboran has been actively involved in a variety of benefit strategy projects focusing on health care, disability and paid time-off.
Mr. Cyboran graduated with distinction from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a BS in Mathematics. He is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. Mr. Cyboran has earned CEBS designation from the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists. He is also a member and Chicago Chapter Past President of the Disability Management Employers Coalition.
